KUCCPS Password Reset

Forgot your password or getting “Incorrect Credentials”? Follow these steps to regain access.

Step 1: Request a Reset Token

Go to the Password Reset Page. Enter your KCSE Index Number. The system will send a reset token to your registered email or phone number.

Step 2: Update Your Password

Enter the token received and set a new password. Choose something easy to remember but hard to guess.

Troubleshooting: Rejected Birth Certificate or KCPE Index

This is a common issue at many cyber cafes. If the system rejects your initial password details, try these fixes:

  • Check the Format: Ensure you are not including slashes or spaces in your Birth Certificate number.
  • Try Both Options: If the Birth Certificate number fails, try your KCPE Index number.
  • Mismatched Data: If both fail, your details might have been captured incorrectly during KCSE registration.
  • The Huduma Solution: Visit the nearest Huduma Centre or the KUCCPS desk. They can verify your identity and manually reset your portal access.
